Gulhane Park
Gulhane Park is the oldest and
most popular public Park in Istanbul. Located on the grounds of the Topkapi
Palace in the ancient peninsula, it was formerly the hunting grounds for the
Ottoman Sultans and the royal court's outer garden. The Park provides a variety
of gardens, pools, and a lovely atmosphere, with the south entrance being the
biggest gate of the palace! After the route, you may sit in an open-air cafe
and take in the breathtaking views of the Bosphorus. The Park transforms into a
lovely location complete with bright flowers during the Tulip Festival in
April.
Emirgan Park
Istanbul's most famous and
biggest Park. A public garden in the city's Sariyer area and one of the city's
most distant. The Park, which overlooks the magnificent Bosphorus, features
ponds, fountains, three public pavilions, jogging paths, and a playground in
addition to a diverse array of flora and wildlife. A historic location was
known as "Kyparades" or "Cypress Forest" during the
Byzantine era because it was covered in cypress trees. Taking part in the Tulip
Festival in April creates an incredible spectacle.
Yildiz Park
One of Istanbul's most attractive
and charming parks, located near the Ciragan Palace in the Besiktas
neighbourhood. Sultan Selim III built this historical Park in remembrance of
his mother. It started as a forest, but it evolved into the Ottoman Sultans'
imperial hunting grounds through time. Rare flowers and trees were imported
from all over the world during Sultan Abdulhamid II's reign, resulting in the
creation of the Royal Garden. The Park has not only a panoramic view of the
Bosphorus but also two historic pavilions, the Cadir and Malta pavilions, as
well as waterfalls and ponds!
Belgrad Park
The Park with the most luxuriant flora! A magnificent location in Istanbul's Sariyer neighbourhood, making it the city's furthest Park. During Sultan Suleiman the Magnificent's reign, the forest was vitally important as the city's primary supply of water. As a result, there are several ancient canals along the route to the Park. It got its name because after the Ottomans conquered Belgrade, many Serbians were transported to Istanbul. This is a fantastic location for jogging, picnics, hikes, and relaxation. The Ataturk Arboretum and the remnants of the Belgrade hamlet are among the 2000 foreign and native plant types on display.
Macka Park
Demokrasi Park is a tiny park
located on a hill near Dolmabahce Palace that offers a scenic view of the
Bosphorus. This location is excellent for fitness and relaxation since it has
children's playgrounds, cafés, and restaurants. The ideal outdoor retreat,
easily located near Taksim, with a cable car-Telerik for a journey over the
Park while taking in the sights! An excellent area to go around with your
family and children, with spacious roads, wooden seats, and attractive
walkways.
